Shorr Productions was established more than 25 years ago by Irwin J. Shorr, the owner.  Irwin is a nutritionist with two masters' degrees, a Master of Public Health in Nutrition from the UCLA School of Public Health, MPH 1972, and a Master of Professional Studies in International Development with a major in International Nutrition from Cornell University, MPS-ID 1984.  Irwin has worked in 38 countries over the past 38 years on growth monitoring, nutrition assessment and evaluation, as well as anthropometry training for a variety of organizations, international and government agencies and educational institutions.  Also, he has conducted anthropometry workshops throughout the U.S. and has written several manuals including "How To Weigh And Measure Children" for the United Nations that has been translated into six languages and distributed worldwide.
